About Equinox Care Facility
Equinox Care Facility is a family-owned and operated residential care facility for the elderly located in beautiful Gualala, CA. Since we purchased the facility in 2006, we’ve treated every client like they were a part of our family.
We provide assistance with the activities of daily living. This includes three delicious, balanced meals each day and snacks in between meals. We assist in arranging transportation to and from local doctor and dentist appointments.
Equinox Care Facility is located in scenic Gualala, California. We have carefully designed and decorated our facility to be a peaceful, cheerful home to all our residents. The house is a roomy 2740 square feet. Bedrooms are warm and cozy, allowing our residents to feel comfortable and at ease. All bedrooms are private.
Every effort is made to find activities of interest for each resident and to give them a sense of participation in as many aspects of normal daily life as possible. Books, magazines, games, newspapers, tapes, videos, music, and cable television are available to those desiring to use them. The senior bus comes to the facility each week and takes any client that wishes to go to Gualala Community Center for lunch. Professional hair salon and manicure services are available upon requests. We also provide continuing health supervision, assistance with medication, and special diets as prescribed by a physician.
